Sense & Sensibility Part 1 review

Let's be honest. I came back once or twice in two more parts. I did really well sticking to plans back then. (Sarcasm). (Though I dont do much better now.)

Major side note: do you think writers and readers all have running inner monologs and that's what makes non readers struggle with main characters in books.

Onward:

Marianne: was she even out? I mean she wasn't presented anywhere nor did they have a ball like Fanny Price.
Will explore ik Birth of a Druid

Eleanor: personality differences. How did I not know that as a fifth sibling?

Mrs. Dashwood: "she's, arguably, the catalyst for all that goes wrong in the book."! That honor actually goes to Uncle Dashwood. But like Willoughby exist too, Purple!

Margaret: she does in fact talk too much. Back to the school room. Does Austen not believe in schools or governess and the nursery?
Jane A did have a pretty uncommon upbringing with guests. But this is not how Margaret needed to be read.
I hope Eleanor, Edward, and Colonel Brandon send her to school.
To be explored in TMS, TLS

Mr. Ferrars: "he loves deeply. I don't love him." And then spoilers lol

Colonel Brandon: "queue, Someone Like You by Adele." Spoilers added 2026: given Elizabeth, Eliza and Marianne with the latter two falling for the same people, he just loved Elizabeth's parallel with Eliza's potential future. His niece! She might be, is?, older than Mari.
Also what does Eliza's life look like raising her younger aunt's ex flings baby?

Mr. Willoughby: "I'm not in the same but as most."
I liked, approved, esteemed him?!
Spoilers: but yes, I think he was in love.

Mr. & Mrs. Palmer - they're introduced this early?

Sir John and Lady Middleton: Lady Middleton can't disappear as it would be opium. If that even hurts people in a lethal way.
To be explained in.... Do I have a Sir John?
Marcus Volturri?

Mrs. Jennings: "Comedienne" grow up - to be fair I was 19 and trying too hard pick me energy for other teammates.
(Down with feminists. Feminists want equality. It's starting to sound like misandry and that's not accurate representation.)

Not the group I'm in now, as a nonbinary person.

Mr. & Younger Mrs. Dashwood: "spineless" fool. "Vampy ... with no human feelings"
Blood vampire - Bella (Ellie) changes.

Mr. Henry Dashwood: I might forgive you now.

Unc Dashwood: I'll never forgive you.

(The AAVE I just picked up needs studied - black sense & sensibility)

Or is rich to poor too true to Africa to Black?
