"I cannot go without you." Embry argues.
"It's your honeymoon." Jacob counters.
"It's 2 months in Bath as my new husband works himself to death for approval from his uncle."
"And that's supposed to convince me to go why?"
"Because I'll be absolutely alone if you don't join me."
"I have responsibilities, Embry."
"No. No you don't, Jake. School will be going back the week after. And all of your classes are online."
Jacob thinks.
"I have a cat."
"You have a cat?" Embry asks. "Really? That's the next excuse that comes to mind?"
"Seraphina doesn't like to travel." He knows he's losing.
"Seraphina will deal. I won't." Embry insists.
Jacob puts his head in hand.
"2 months?"
"All expenses paid."
Jacob grins.
"Why didn't you lead with that, dude?"
Chapter 2
Jacob has never seen such a show of wealth.
They drove to the airport in a town car.
They sat first class.
Emmett tipped without counting?
Embry has done well for himself.
Well, if those things matter to you.
Jacob was a pure heart.
Money had never been important to him.
But being spoiled with Embry's attention and hence Emmett's money would soon affect him.
